Trust in the Name of the Lord Our God

Psalm 20 - Trust in the Name of the Lord Our God 21st Century King James Version 20  The  Lord  hear thee in the day of trouble! The name of the God of Jacob defends thee! 2  May He send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion. 3  May He remember all thy offerings and accept thy burnt sacrifice. Selah 4  May He grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel. 5  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God, we will set up our banners; the  Lord  fulfill all thy petitions! 6  Now I know that the  Lord  saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. 7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the  Lord  our God. 8  They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright. 9  Save us,  Lord ! Let the King hear us when we call.

What Makes Us Humans

What Makes Us Humans One of the findings in the Human Genome Project is that the difference between humans and chimpanzee DNA sequence was 1%. The chimpanzee and human genomes are strikingly similar and encode very similar proteins. The DNA sequence that can be directly compared between the two genomes is almost 99 percent identical. This project provided a wealth of information about the structure, function, and variation of human genes. Human DNA study can also help us diagnose and treat diseases, trace our ancestry, and discover new aspects of our biology.  One of the findings in the Human Genome Project is that the difference between humans and chimpanzee DNA sequence was 1%. The chimpanzee and human genomes are strikingly similar and encode very similar proteins. The DNA sequence that can be directly compared between the two genomes is almost 99 percent identical. But what makes the difference between humans and chimpanzee is that humans has a neurophysiological support, the

Joel Chapter 3 - The Valley of Josaphat, the Valley of Decision

Joel 3 21st Century King James Version 3  “For behold, in those days and in that time, when I shall bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, 2  I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted My land. 3  And they have cast lots for My people, and have given a boy for a harlot and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. 4  Yea, and what have ye to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon and all the coasts of Palestine? Will ye render Me a recompense? And if ye recompense Me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head, 5  because ye have taken My silver and My gold, and have carried into your temples My goodly, pleasant things. 6  The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border. 7  Behold, I will raise th

Isaiah 9 Prophecy Fulfilled in Matthew 4 and Joel 3

Isaiah 9:1 1  Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at first He lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward more grievously afflicted her by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.   2  The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. For us Christians, this prophecy was fulfilled in Matthew Chapter 4:   12  Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee. 13  And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the seacoast in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14  that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, 15  “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: 16  the people who sat in darkness saw a great Light; and to them that sat in the region and shadow

May the light that shone in Bethlehem shine in our hearts on these days of Christmas.

There is an analogy, a similarity between Einstein's theory of light (wave-particle) and the nature (Spirit-matter) of the true Light, God. In (1 John 1:5) he says: "God is light,"; and in (John 4:24) he says, "God is Spirit." Just like Einstein's natural light wave (cannot be seen), God, Spirit, cannot be seen either. "No one has seen God at any time (John 1:18). The Prophet Isaiah shows the condition of the people of Israel, plunged into the darkness of sin and ignorance due to their turning away from Jehovah, their God. "And they will pass through the land weary and hungry, and it will come to pass, be hungry, they will be angry and curse their king and their God, lifting their faces high. And they will look at the earth, behold tribulation and darkness, darkness and anguish; and they will be plunged into darkness. (Isaiah 8:21,22). In the next chapter (9: 1,2), his prophecy points to the time of Jesus in the New Testament. The Prophet, enli

Knowing Jesus, God - John 14

(John 14) “ Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; [ a ]  believe also in me.   In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? [ b ]   And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.   And you know the way to where I am going.” [   Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him,  “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.   If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. [ d ]  From now on you do know him and have seen him.” THE PATH TO FOLLOW TO REACH THE FATHER (GOD) These verses above are found in the context when the time came for Jesus to be crucified and he prepared a dinner, washed the feet of his disciples and told them that one of them would hand him over. It is an hour of uncertainty, of doubt, and w

2 Corinthians 1

Seeing you there reminded me of the Apostle Paul when he wrote to the Corinthian Church about Christ's consolation.  ( 2 Corinthians 1 -  Living Bible). 1  Dear friends: This letter is from me, Paul, appointed by God to be Jesus Christ’s messenger, and from our dear brother Timothy. We are writing to all of you Christians there in Corinth and throughout Greece. [ a ]   2  May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ mightily bless each one of you and give you peace. 3-4  What a wonderful God we have—he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.  5  You can be sure that the more we undergo sufferings for Christ, the more he will shower us with his comfort and encouragement.  6-7  We are in deep trouble

Th e date October 7 and Hammas Attacks to Israel

Just to meditate.  What the Bible says a bout  October 7 , (10:7 verses) the day Hammas attacked Israel. When I saw the festival around an image of Budah on the day of Hammas Attacks, the first thing that came to my mind was this passage: Deuteronomy 5:7-10  English Standard Version   7  “‘You shall have no other gods before me . 8  “‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.   9  You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the  Lord  your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,   10  but showing steadfast love to thousands [ b ]  of those who love me and keep my commandments.   Isaiah 10:7-14 - NIV   7  But this is not what he intends; this is not what he has in mind; his purpose is to destroy, to put an end to many nations. 9  ‘Has not Kalno fared like C
