What Makes Us Humans
One of the findings in the Human
Genome Project is that the difference between human and chimpanzee DNA
sequences was 1%. The chimpanzee
and human genomes are strikingly similar and encode very similar proteins. The
DNA sequence that can be directly compared between the two genomes is almost 99
percent identical.
This project provided a wealth of information about the
structure, function, and variation of human genes. Human DNA study can also
help us diagnose and treat diseases, trace our ancestry, and discover new
aspects of our biology.

But what makes the difference between
humans and chimpanzees is that humans have neurophysiological support, the
brain, with its 100,000 million neurons and glial cells that give humans
a unique place in God’s Creation.
People desperately try to get
illuminated trough the five senses that share with the rest of the living beings.
But to get there we have to put in action the two abstracts senses of the neocortex:
the “spiritual perception” sense, and the “executive perception” sense.
We are at the brink of a new type of
personality behaving with the 6th sense, that eventually will put
the “7th executive perception sense at the humanity service for its wellbeing.
“No more harm to your neighbor, no more hate, no more lies, no more evil.”
