"9-11" - A 9-1-1 GOD'S EMERGENCY CALL TO AMERICA
9-11 - A 9-1-1 GOD'S EMERGENCY CALL TO AMERICA
This work deals with the striking parallelism between September 11, 2001 (9-11), the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, and verses 9-11 of the Bible.
9-11 is commonly used to designate the date of September 11, 2001, the date of the destruction of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. A group of terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners and diverted them toward the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Virginia.
9-11 is a universal call, the phone number to call in an emergency. But 9-11 is, in verses 9-11 of the Bible, “a 9-1-1 emergency call from God to America,” and the 21st-century church is not reacting to the most violent and ferocious attack on the fundamental principles and values of society.
Just as in the times of the prophet Ezekiel, North American society suffers from conditions similar to those of the people of Israel. Ezekiel (9:2) says that he saw six men coming to destroy, each with a deadly instrument in his hand. Furthermore, the Lord shows the prophet men who plot evil and give evil advice in the city (11:2).
Just as in Ezekiel (9:2), on 9-11 2001, the terrorists arrived, each with their deadly weapons, from airplanes with their tanks full of fuel, ready to kill thousands of innocent creatures, bringing a state of terror, unrest, and fear of the nation. The terrorists came with their weapons of destruction to kill and destroy. As in the times of Ezekiel 11:2, those who plotted evil and gave bad advice in the city to the people of Israel are also giving bad advice to the nation of North America and the entire world.
Woe to him who builds his house without justice and his rooms without equity, serving his neighbor for nothing and not giving him the wages of his work! (Jeremiah 22:13).
These evil men have come with the deadly instruments of abortion, killing millions of innocent creatures in their mother's wombs. They came with the fatal tools of their laws to destroy our society's most fundamental principles and values, thus eliminating marriage and family institutions.
They have also come with the instruments of drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity to kill our young people in the streets and destroy their fundamental moral, ethical, and spiritual values. They have also come to remove God's name from public places and currency.
Six hundred years before Christ (600BC), the Lord tells the prophet Jeremiah that he will punish the people and take revenge on such a nation because both the house of Israel and the house of Judah had been more than unfaithful. (Jeremiah 5:9 -eleven).
Four hundred years before Christ (400 BC), the prophet Ezekiel predicted what would happen on that fateful day, 9-11, 2001. He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons. His horses will be so many that they will cover you in dust. Your walls will tremble at the roar of war horses, carts, and chariots when he enters your gates as he enters a city whose walls have been broken down. The hooves of his horses will trample all your streets; He will kill your people with the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground. (Ezekiel 26:9-11).
The prophet Zephaniah prophesied around the year (625 BC), where and when the terrorist acts of 9-11 would occur. Those who live in the Market Quarter groan. All your merchants will be annihilated, and all those who trade in silver will be destroyed! (Zephaniah 1:11).
Around the year (612 B.C.), the prophet Habakkuk prophesied the intentions and emotional state of the terrorists. They all come determined to violence. Their hordes advance like desert winds and collect prisoners like sand. They mock kings and mock rulers. They laugh at all fortified cities, pass like the wind, and are: “guilty people, whose own strength is their god.” (Habakkuk 1:9-11).
Ezekiel heard when the man dressed in linen, with a writing set at his side, was ordered to go throughout the city of Jerusalem, putting a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done. In it (Ezekiel 9:4). “Then the man clothed in linen with the writing equipment at his side spoke a word, saying, “I have done as you commanded me” (Ezekiel 9:11).
Words of Restoration for those with the mark of the Spirit of God on their foreheads.
9-11 is about destruction, but in the 8th century BC, Amos, the prophet, also speaks the word of God for restoration to his people when he says that, on that day, the Lord would mend the cracks, restore the ruins and rebuild them as they were in the old days. (Amos 9:11).
In the year (520 B.C.), the prophet Haggai also said that the latter glory would be greater than the first. (Haggai 2:9).
The writer of the book of Deuteronomy also had words of restoration for people who obey God's commandments. “The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he will promise you with an oath, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the people of the earth will see that the name of the Lord calls them and they will fear him. “The LORD will give abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, in the offspring of your livestock, and in the fruits of your land—in the land that he swore to your fathers that he would give you. (Deuteronomy 28:9-11).
