The First Adam Disobeyed God - The Second Adam Obeyed God
The First Adam disobeyed God’s commandments, and the Second Adam obeyed God’s commandments.
"Thus, it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven." (1Corinthians 15:45-49)
God the True Light
True Light,
the Spirit of God, is analogous to the wave of natural light that cannot be
seen, but when God sent His Son, He became flesh and could be seen,
analogous to the particle of natural light, when God sent His Son, of whom John
speaks, as the incarnate “Word”, (dual nature – Spirit-Matter) could be seen.
Then John said of him: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God" – Spirit (John 1:1). The Word (could not
be seen) analogous to the wave of natural light. And he said again: "And
that Word (Spirit, cannot be seen), became flesh (particle, matter could be seen) like Einstein's theory of light). The
particle of the True Light God, dwelt among us, and we saw his Glory, as the
only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." (14).
The Baptism of Jesus
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be
baptized by John. But John tried to deter him,
saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus
replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all
righteousness.” Then John consented.” (Mathew 3:13-15).
When Jesus was baptized by John the
Baptist in the waters of the Jordan River, the biblical verse says that when he
came out of the water, John saw the Holy Spirit resting on him.
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.
At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.”
(Mathew 3:16). “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be
tempted by the devil.” (4:1)
The Holy Spirit is like a fire that
gives us the energy, the power, and the strength to carry out the will of God.
Fire represents the powers of illumination, purification, and guidance the
Holy Spirit exercises over our lives. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God
when he dwells in the believer's heart. The fire of the Holy Spirit also
represents purification and sanctification. The fire of the Holy Spirit can be
poured out on all of us who accept Jesus Christ as our savior and God.
1-
Energy,
Light
“…he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.”
– …alighting on him”. Cambridge dictionary – alighting= alight verb, old-fashioned - [ I ] formal - to get out of a vehicle, especially a train or bus: “The suspect alighted from the train at Euston and proceeded to Heathrow.”(dictionary.cambridge.org).
The same Cambridge
dictionary says: “alight” – adjective [after verb] burning: “I had to use a bit of petrol to get the fire alight.” “The rioters overturned several cars and set them alight.” “He was smoking in bed and
his blankets caught alight.”
Both
terms “alighting” and “alight” are implicit in the text mentioned above (Mathew
4:1).
Alighting = Descending
The Holy Spirit (descending on Him) – For the
first time since Adam’s disobedience, the Spirit of God dwelled inside a man.
This was the whole purpose of God throughout the Scriptures, to bring back man into the Garden and have that attitude that
Paul says in (Philippians 2:5-11):
“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in
Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the
form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,] but emptied himself, by taking the
form of a servant,] being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled
himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a
cross. Therefore God
has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above
every name, so that at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the
earth, and every tongue
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:5).
Alight
= Burn
This is the purpose of the Holy Spirit and Fire: to bring man the power and the strength to burn, to put to death all primitive, ancient, reptilian impulses of the unconscious limbic system; the unconscious limbic system that is seized by the devil and restore it by a limbic system guided by the “neocortex” – the “new cortex’s man in Christ.” “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
As I said, "The Holy Spirit is like a fire that gives us the energy, power, and strength to carry out the will of God.”
1-
Energy-Fire-light
The fire of God is the presence of God manifested in action to burn, consume, raise, and operate transformations. The Bible describes God as a "consuming fire."
Fire is often an instrument of God's judgment and a sign of
his power. Fire is also an experience that accompanies the Holy Spirit when it
comes into a person's life. “God is Light” (1 John 1:5. “Again, Jesus spoke to
them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in
darkness but will have the light of life. "(John 8:12). Jesus wants us to
live immersed in the Spirit's Presence and His fire. "But you will
receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my
witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the
earth” (Acts 1:8).
2-
Power
“Jesus was led by the Spirit into
the wilderness to be tempted by the devil” – Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit
and Fire that alighted him. He was led by the Spirit, not led by the unconscious
limbic system of the primitive, ancient, reptilian brain, but by the trillions
of glial cells and the billions of neurons of the "neocortex", turned
off since man disobeyed the Supreme Law. Now, after the baptism in the Jordan
River by John the Baptist, those trillions of glia cells and those billions of
neurons were activated, giving to the Son of Man (Jesus), POWER.
3-
Strength
The Holy Spirit and Fire gave Jesus the strength
to confront the devil in the wilderness on three occasions. The Psalmist says that the Lord is his strength. “The Lord is my strength and my
shield; in
him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart
exults, and
with my song I give thanks to him. The Lord is his people's strength; he is his Annointed's saving refuge. Oh, save your people and
bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.” (Psalm 28:7-9).
There
will be a change in people's minds and hearts very soon. The prophet Joel 2:28,29 says: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit
on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”
“God is Light” (1 John 1:5). Jesus said: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (John 9:5). He wants us to be the light of this world. “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14-16).
