Introduction to my book - "9-11" - A 9-1-1 God's Emergency Call to America

 Introduction

This book is about the striking parallelism between the 9-11 date of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks and the Bible’s 9-11 verses.

9-11 is commonly used to designate the date of September 11, 2001, the date of the Trade World Center tower destruction in New York City. A terrorist group hijacked four commercial airplanes and diverted them to New York City’s Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Virginia.

9-11 is also a Universal call. The phone number to call when having an emergency. But 9-11 is “God’s 9-1-1 emergency call to America,” the 21st-century church is not reacting to the most violent and fierce attack on our society’s principles and fundamental values.

Just as in the times of the prophet Ezekiel, North American society suffers similar conditions to those of the people of Israel. Ezekiel says that he saw six men who came to destroy each with a mortal instrument in his hand. (Ezekiel 9:2) Also, the Lord shows him the men plotting evil and giving bad advice in the city. (11:2)

As in Ezekiel 9:2, on 9-11, 2001, the terrorists arrived, each with their deadly weapons, of the airplanes with their tanks full of fuel, ready to kill thousands of innocent creatures, bringing a state of terror, unease, and fear to the nation. The terrorists came with their weapons of destruction to kill and destroy. Like in Ezekiel 11:2, those plotting evil and giving bad advice in the city also were giving evil counsel in the nation.

Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest high to escape the clutches of ruin! You have plotted the destruction of many people, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life. The wall stones will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it. The wall stones will cry out, and the rays of the woodwork will reflect it.” (Habakkuk 2:9-11).

These wicked men have come with the deadly instruments of abortion, killing millions of innocent creatures in their mothers’ wombs. They came with the fatal tools of their laws to destroy our society’s most fundamental principles and values, thus eliminating marriage and family institutions.

They have also come with the instruments of drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity to kill our young people in the streets and destroy their fundamental moral, ethical, and spiritual values. They have also come to remove the name of God from public places and the currency.

The Lord tells the prophet, Jeremiah, that he will punish the people and take revenge on such a nation because the house of Israel and Judah had been more than unfaithful. (Jeremiah 5:9-11).

Six hundred years BC, the prophet Ezekiel foretold what would happen to the Tween Towers on that fateful day of 9:11, 2001, as if he knew the date and the destruction it would cause. “He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons. … they will cover you with dust. Your walls will tremble at the noise of the warhorses, wagons, and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city whose walls have been broken through.  … will trample all your streets; he will kill your people … and your strong pillars will fall to the ground.” (Ezekiel 26:9-11).

The Prophet Zephaniah prophesied about 625 B.C. where and when the 9-11 terrorist acts would occur. And said: “Wail, you who live in the Market District, all your merchants will be wiped out, and all who trade with silver will be destroyed. (Zephaniah 1:11).

Around 612BC, the prophet Habakkuk prophesized about the terrorist’s intentions and emotional state of mind, saying: “They all come intent on violence. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. They mock kings and scoff at rulers. They laugh at all fortified cities; by building earthen ramps, they capture them. Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.” (Habakkuk 1:9-11).

“Ezekiel (chapter 8) says that he was sitting in his house among the elders of Judah. The hand of the Sovereign Lord came over him there. He looked and saw a figure like that of a man. From what appeared to be his waist down, he was like fire; from there up, his appearance was as bright as glowing metal. Ezekiel says that He stretched out what looked like a hand and took him by the hair of his head. The Spirit lifted him between earth and heaven, and in visions of God, he took him to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes jealousy stood.

“He said to me, “Go in and see the wicked and detestable things they are doing here.” So, I went in and looked, and saw, portrayed all over the walls, all kinds of crawling things, unclean animals, and all the idols of Israel. In front of them stood seventy elders of Israel, and Jaazaniah, son of Shaphan, was standing among them. Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising.” (Ezekiel 8:9-11).

Ezekiel listened when he said to the others: “Follow them through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter the older men, the young men, and women, the mothers, and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So, they began with the older men in front of the temple. Then he said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!” So, they went out and began killing throughout the city. While they were killing and Ezekiel was left alone, he fell facedown, crying out, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

So, Ezekiel chapter (9) says: “He answered me, “The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of injustice. They say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’ So, I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down their heads what they have done.” Then, the man in linen with the writing kit at his side returned word, saying, “I have done as you commanded.” (Ezekiel 9-11).

9-11 is about destruction, but in the 8th-century BC, Amos, the prophet, also has God’s words for restoration to his people when he says: “On that day, the Lord would repair the cracks, restore the ruins, and rebuild them as it was in the old days. (Amos 9:11).

In 520 B.C., the prophet Haggai also says, “The latter glory will be greater than the first. (Haggai 2:9).

The writer of the book of Deuteronomy also had words of 9-11 restorations for the people who obey God’s commands.

“The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that the name of the Lord calls you. They will fear you. The Lord will grant abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock, and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. (Deuteronomy 28:9-11).

Saddam Hussein, the number one target of the Bush administration in the invasion of Iraq, was captured in the mediations of Ad Dour 15 kilometers southeast of Tikrit and was carrying a bulky suitcase containing $ 750,000.00 in cash. A force of 600 American soldiers captured Saddam Hussein in a raid on Saturday night on an isolated farm near Tikrit, American military officials said today. The former Iraqi president was found, haggard and disoriented but alive, hiding at the bottom of an 8-foot-deep hole.

As the Prophet Nahum said: “Nineveh, now it is your turn! You will get drunk and try to hide from your enemy.” (Nahum 3:11 CEV).

Following his capture on 13 December 2003, the trial of Saddam took place under the Iraqi Interim Government. On 5 November 2006, Saddam was convicted by an Iraqi court of crimes against humanity related to the 1982 killing of 148 Iraqi Shi’a and sentenced to death by hanging. He was executed on 30 December 2006.

The news media spread the news of the extraordinary victory to the entire world. Accompanied, among other photos, the photos of the two corpses of Saddam Hussein’s sons, Qusay and Uday, were disseminated worldwide.

The Prophet Isaiah says: “Prepare a place to slaughter his children for the sins of their ancestors; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities.” (Isaiah 14:21).

Chapter I

9-11, And the Scriptures

In the book of Lamentations, the prophet Jeremiah is amazed when the enemies of Israel enter the gates of Jerusalem. He says, “Never the kings of the earth nor did the inhabitants of the world believe that the enemies and adversaries of Jerusalem would someday cross the seas and attack the city. “But it happened.” (Lamentations 4:11).

Nor did the people of the United States believe that the enemy would someday cross the seas and attack the Twin Towers, the headquarters of the International Trade Center in New York City, and even less the headquarters of the armed forces, the Pentagon!

He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons. His horses will be so many that they will cover you with dust. Your walls will tremble at the noise of the warhorses, wagons, and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city whose walls have been broken. The hooves of his horses will trample all your streets; he will kill your people with the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground. (Ezekiel 26:9–11)

The king of Babylon invaded the city of Jerusalem on the 9/11 date of the prophet Jeremiah’s days (39:2). This invasion happened on the nine (9) days of the year eleven (11) in the reign of King Zedekiah. The enemy opened a gap in the city’s wall on that date.
