CONSEQUENCES OF THE FORBIDEN FRUIT
CONSEQUENCES OF THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT
And God said to him: Who taught you that
you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat? (Genesis
3:9-11)
In the Beginning of Creation, everything
worked in perfect order. The code that would govern the individual
characteristics of all species was written in the DNA of all life. How it
should behave, the color of its hair, the color of its eyes, the color of its
skin, its physiognomy, and other characteristics that differentiate one species
from the other. The Creator had codified how he would relate to Him and the
rest of creation in Adam's DNA code. In Adam's DNA code was the information to
rule over everything on earth, cultivate the Garden, procreate and multiply,
and give his Creator a sense of survival and service. In his DNA was written
the code to be happy, to live in harmony with his Creator and Creation, and to
have a sense of immortality.
In addition, the Creator equipped humans
with the capacity for thought to gain intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, truth,
revelation, understanding, and purpose in life. Every time the neocortex has a
new learning, it will always cause the brain to be required to change the
synaptic connections. And that means a footprint at the level of our
neurobiology.
On the other hand, the behavior of animals
is instinctive. It is based on the species' survival, and the engines that
drive it are fear and aggression. Aggression and fear, to face danger, and the
sexual instinct for procreation and life in a herd.
THE TRAGIC CONDITION OF MAN AFTER HIS
FALL AND HIS CONVERSATION WITH HIS CREATOR
And God said to him: Who taught you that
you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat?
In the Beginning of Creation, everything
worked in perfect order. The code that would govern the individual
characteristics of all species was written in the DNA of all life. How it
should behave, the color of its hair, the color of its eyes, the color of its
skin, its physiognomy, and other characteristics that differentiate one species
from the other. The Creator had inscribed how he would relate to Him and the
rest of creation in Adam's DNA code. In Adam's DNA code was the information to
rule over everything on earth, cultivate the Garden, procreate and multiply,
and give his Creator a sense of survival and service. In his DNA was written
the code to be happy, to live in harmony with his Creator and Creation, and to
have a sense of immortality.
DNA can be considered a store whose content
is the information (message) necessary to build and sustain the organism in
which it resides, transmitted from generation to generation. The genome is the
information that fulfills this function in each organism. The genome is the set
of genes. A gene is a unit of information in the chromosomes, which encodes a
functional product; it is the unit of molecular inheritance. Genetic
inheritance is the process by which the characteristics of individuals are
transmitted to their offspring, whether physiological, morphological, or
biochemical characteristics of living beings under different environmental
media, and the DNA that constitutes it is genomic.
Furthermore, the Creator equipped the human
with a brain of over 100 billion neurons and another 1.2 trillion neuroglia.
Each can connect (synaptic transmission), both bio-electrically and
biochemically, with others 1,000 to 80,000 times. This, on average, makes a
complex and intricate neurobiological network of 1,200,000,000,000,000,000
functional neural connections.
In addition, the Creator equipped the human
with the capacity for thought to obtain intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, truth,
revelation, understanding, and purpose in life. Every time the brain has a new
learning, it will always cause the brain to be required to make changes in the
synaptic connections.
On the contrary, human
conduct at the beginning of his creation was spontaneous and governed by the
precepts of his Creator. His DNA code had no readings of fear, aggression, or
death. The Adam of the Garden of Eden only knew good; evil was not marked in
his DNA genome. How could it have been if... "Every good gift and every
perfect gift come down from above, from the Father of lights, in whom there is
no change, nor shadow of variation?" (James 1:17)
But Adam transgressed the Law, the mandate
of his Creator, and ate the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil, which he was
forbidden to eat. He became drunk with its fruit and therefore began
participating in what seemed good or bad for his existence. His partner, Eve,
intoxicated by the "new tragic knowledge," her senses obfuscated,
offered it to Adam without knowing what she was doing. He, guided by "the
mirror neurons," imitating Eve's behavior, also ate the forbidden fruit.
“At first, that did not please him very
much, but soon, with the effect produced by that forbidden fruit, he felt
loquacious. It was as if a new window had suddenly been opened before Adam,
through which, burning and glowing, the world with different ideas and themes
presented itself to him, waves of fantasies, sound, and color, the product of
his ideas and considerations, entering through his senses. Not those of the
Creator. With great enthusiasm, provoked by that forbidden fruit, Adam listened
to Eve, who, intoxicated by the effects of the forbidden fruit, did not stop
talking. She! At last, she had found a way to vent her soul!
After Adam ate from the fruit Eve had
given to him, half dizzy and with resentment of apprehension, listened to Eve,
he felt a change slowly taking place within his being, a sensation of something
paradisiacal. Still, at the same time, he had the impression that everything
belonged to the forbidden, of a passionate and rebellious flavor. His heart
swelled with joy at giving tumultuous course to the desires of
communication repressed within his being.
While Adam was experiencing all of these
suddenly was assaulted by a deep feeling of grief, anguish, and regret. He began
to experience a premonition of where he could find his Creator again. Still,
that knowledge was ambiguous, imprecise, and confusing, without knowing where to find his Creator again. That presentiment was like a suspicion,
an ambivalent intuition, a "new tragic-spiritual knowledge," nebulous
without knowing the exact place where to find it – “See to it that no one falls short of the grace of
God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. See that no one is sexually immoral or godless
like Esau, who, for a single meal, sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, he was rejected when he wanted to inherit this blessing. Even though he sought the blessing with
tears, he could not change his actions.” (Hebrews 12:15-17).
For the first time in their lives, Adam
and Eve felt the side effects of the forbidden fruit, and, laughing and making meaningless comments, they started to return home very late in the cold night.
However, all that had something more; it had a certain charm, a singular
sweetness that made them abandon themselves to a state of ecstasy and total
relaxation; it was rebellion, it was an orgy, it was freedom without limits.
With Adam and Eve's disobedience to the
Supreme Law, the limbic system seized his thoughts, affections, and behavior. “For although they knew God,
they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became
futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became
fools, exchanging the inmortal God's glory for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals
and creeping things.” (Romans 1:21-23).
That altered state of consciousness was not
pleasant to Adam. Still, on the contrary, very painful, and when that euphoria
produced by that forbidden fruit ceased, Adam wanted to go back to his Creator.
Still, no matter how hard he searched, even with tears, he couldn't find
it." He had missed the signal and, as Nikola Tesla said, had lost the
frequency, all contact with "the control tower," that Core in which
we find knowledge, and wisdom, “The seventh sense of Executive Perception” –
the NEOROCORTEX.
