Do You Believe in God?

 I DO BELIEVE IN GOD

Many people who have had a near-death experience say that they have faced a bright and powerful light. Saul of Tarsus, while persecuting the Christians, was invaded by a powerful light that knocked them to the ground.

The first thing God made was Light.

The Bible says that God is Light and, in fact, uses light, the electromagnetic spectrum, for his purposes on earth.

When God burst into the earth's atmosphere, a big bang was heard, and it was that Light, God, was coming at 300,000 km/s. Psalm 18 is an analogy with the Big Bang theory.

Psalm 18:10-12 says:

“He rode on a cherub, and flew;

He flew on the wings of the wind.

He made darkness his hiding place, his curtain around him;

Darkness of waters, clouds of the skies.

By the brightness of his presence, his clouds passed away;

Hail and burning coals.”

This poetic passage describes a powerful image: God riding on a cherub, flying with the speed of the wind. Darkness and clouds surround him, and his presence shines like hail and burning coals.

It is a metaphor that evokes majesty and divine omnipotence.
